In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Enveloped.”
While visiting Arizona dessert landmarks, I spied this goat on a hilltop.
Silly me did not see the fences below and thought it was a wild goat. My son then informed me, “mom, its the far side of the Phoenix Zoo!” So then I took this picture of the goat area. Not as exciting as seeing a wild animal in Africa I guess, but that was my first reaction. And no, I have not been to Africa either but has anything like that happened to you?
Thanks for visiting my site, and I will enjoy taking a look at yours too. ~Julia

Okay, so maybe not quite as dramatic when you see the full picture but it’s a great picture all the same. 🙂

Visiting the Pacific North west from Australia a few years ago, we were hugely excited to spot a horned owl on the roof of a hotel. It was still there next morning – a life-size (ineffectual) bird-scarer…At least your goat is real!

Ha ha thanks. I thought the same thing when my dad moved to the country. Those owls were all over. Thanks for the comment.
