Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge: Day One – Maleficent

This is my first post for the Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge sent to me by Doug Warren. So here goes . . .

Maleficent with Angelina Jolie was a big hit this past winter. The story of a wicked fairy cursing a child princess who one day will prick her finger on a weaving spindle.  Too late Maleficent realizes the princess will be the one to save the kingdom. Now she must find a way to re-awaken the princess. I took this picture at the 2015 flower show in Phila. PA. It represents all the spindles the king and queen had burned to prevent the curse. The darkness of the curse with the flowers showing the life of the kingdom in the awakening princess.

The Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge rules require you to post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or simply a short paragraph – it’s entirely up to you.

Her blog is very interesting as she posts about the school, culture, food, shopping etc. Ashley,I’m not sure you will have time to do this, but as mentioned before, it is totally up to you to accept this challenge.
