“(Extra) ordinary” – Stilt Walkers – WPC

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “(Extra)ordinary.”

Everyone’s pictures for this challenge was so good, that I had a hard time finding something. I settled on this  picture of ordinary people doing something extraordinary! This is a photo I took in April 2010 at an Arizona festival when I still had an iPhone.

Enveloped – Between Mountains – WPC

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Enveloped.”

While visiting Arizona dessert landmarks, I spied this goat on a hilltop. 20150406_101052 Silly me did not see the fences below and thought it was a wild goat. My son then informed me, “mom, its the far side of the Phoenix Zoo!”  So then I took this picture of the goat area. Not as exciting as seeing a wild animal in Africa I guess, but that was my first reaction. And no, I have not been to Africa either but has anything like that happened to you?

Envelope WPCThanks for visiting my site, and I will enjoy taking a look at yours too. ~Julia

Forces of Nature – WPC

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Forces of Nature.”

This week, share a force of nature from your corner of the world. It can be something as large as the Grand Canyon, or as small as the tiny seedling steadily breaking is way through the concrete in your driveway.

I chose this picture because not only is the Grand Canyon a true force of nature, but also the tress are growing out of the rock too.
